Senator Natasha Akpoti Empowers 250 Constituents with Drone Technology and Other Initiatives
Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan has successfully trained and empowered 250 constituents with drone technology and other initiatives. The program, which aimed to promote socio-economic development, included the distribution of 80 drones to individuals and learning institutions.
The drones, which are compliant with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) regulations, were given to 10 tertiary institutions nationwide, including Federal College of Education, Okene, University of Ilorin, and Bayero University, Kano, among others. The training program educated participants on the various uses of drones, including construction, oil and gas, agriculture, delivery services, environmental monitoring, and geographically mapping.
In addition to drone technology, the senator's office also empowered constituents with other initiatives, including:

*50 Engineering Toolboxes and Safety Kits*: To support engineering students and professionals with necessary tools and safety equipment.
*50 Welding Machines and Safety Kits*: To empower individuals with welding skills and promote entrepreneurship.
The empowerment program had a wide reach, with beneficiaries from various states, including Zamfara, Ondo, Oyo, Delta, Borno, Cross River, Edo, Abia, and Akwa Ibom. The program demonstrates Senator Akpoti's commitment to promoting education, innovation, and socio-economic development in her constituency and beyond.
