The Commission noted with serious concern a recent statement by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) about young Nigerians selling their personal information to Fintech institutions. The NIMC expressed grave concern over the security implications of such actions, stating that it will not be held responsible for any personal information shared by an individual directly or by proxy for financial gain or inducement. 11-Year-Old Girl Arrested with Drugs in Warri

 An 11-year-old girl named Rejoice was arrested by police operatives from the Ekpan Division in Warri, Delta State, for possession of controlled substances worth N100,000. The girl confessed that her mother, Esther Ugbunugo, sent her to buy the drugs, which included codeine, tramadol, and "swinnol". Rejoice stated that she was arrested while on her way home in a commercial tricycle, also known as a Keke, with the drugs in a black polythene bag. POLICE NEUTRALIZE 3 BANDITS, RECOVER 10 AK-47 RIFLES IN INTELLIGENCE-LED OPERATIONS

In July 2025, operatives of the Force Intelligence Department-Intelligence Response Team (FID-IRT) neutralized three armed bandits during several armed encounters in Taraba, Plateau, Adamawa, Nassarawa, and Niger States.
