Ekiti Police Launch Investigation into Alleged House Breaking by Armed Security Operatives

 The Ekiti State Police Command has initiated a thorough investigation into a disturbing video that has been circulating on social media, showing armed security personnel breaking into an apartment in Ado-Ekiti. The video sparked widespread concern and outrage, with many questioning the identity and mandate of the security operatives involved.


The Ekiti State Police Command has swiftly clarified that it is not part of the Operation Flush Unit, a Joint Task Force of some security agencies allegedly responsible for the act. The Command emphasized that it does not operate any unit by that name, distancing itself from the incident.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Eribo, has taken swift action, ordering a discreet investigation into the incident to unravel the facts and ensure justice. He has appealed to anyone with additional and useful information, particularly the victim(s), to come forward and assist the Police in the investigation process.

The Ekiti State Police Command has reiterated its commitment to upholding the rule of law, respecting the rights of citizens, and ensuring maximum security for the lives and property of the good people of Ekiti State.
