Nigeria Army Troops Disrupt Terrorist Supply Routes in Northeast
The troops of Operation HADIN KAI have intensified their offensive and logistics strangulation operations across the North East region. From July 15 to 22, 2025, the troops achieved notable successes in disrupting terrorist supply routes and foiling planned attacks.
Several terrorist supply routes were disrupted in Adamawa and Borno States, leading to the arrest of seven suspected logistics suppliers. The troops seized motorcycles, food items, fuel, and communication devices from the suspects.
The troops also carried out successful raids and ambushes in various Local Government Areas (LGAs), including Gwoza, Kaga, Bama, Monguno, and Konduga, neutralizing terrorists and foiling planned attacks.
A suspect was arrested with unauthorized Starlink equipment, while another was caught with large quantities of hard drugs. Arms, Improvised Explosive Device (IED) materials, and communication gear were also recovered from the terrorists.
Ten family members of terrorists surrendered in Bama LGA, and a major interception on July 22 led to the seizure of high-tech equipment and supplies en route to Gamboru.
The Chief of Army Staff praised the troops' bravery and reaffirmed the Nigerian Army's commitment to defeating terrorism and restoring peace across the region.
