Nigerian Air Force Graduates New Batch of Combat-Ready UAV Operators

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken a significant step in enhancing its operational capabilities with the graduation of a new batch of combat-ready Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operators. The ceremony, held on July 24, 2025, at 233 Wing Hangar in Kaduna, marks a major milestone in the NAF's efforts to strengthen its Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations.


The graduating UAV operators underwent rigorous training as part of Operational Conversion Training Course 3/2024, which equipped them with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate UAVs effectively in various operational environments. The training program was designed to ensure that the operators are proficient in conducting ISR operations, providing real-time intelligence, and supporting joint force operations.
